Membership with FYP is by invitation only. Membership recruitment takes place throughout the year. Pending members will be invited to a Networking night and will be required to attend at least 2 FYP sanctioned events prior to being considered for membership. New members that fulfill their membership requirements and have shown dedication to the group and our mission will be voted in by the board of directors during the following board meeting. Members must be 21 years of age, fulfill our defined role as a "professional," display ethical and professional behavior both inside and outside of the group, and must be active community members. All members in good standing will have full voting rights. Membership dues are $85 per year. Members are required to attend at least 75% of all business meetings, which this year are being combined with a monthly social.
FYP Monthly Schedule:
- One business meeting/networking night per month
- Held on the third Tuesday of each month
- Held at a local restaurant in support of our community
- Led by the Board of Directors
- Special social events may be held on a different weeknight or weekend
- One board meeting per month (board members only)
- Held on the first Tuesday of each month
- Community Event Participation
- CareNet Weekend Backpack Program collection at each monthly meeting
- Adopt-a-Highway clean-up event quarterly
- Macon Waves Ducky Derby Event participation & fundraising
- Local Career Fairs
- Other events & community involvement throughout the years (see our events schedule on the main page)
